Supporting documents

All new clients must go though following paperwork before a booking can be made:

 

  • Dog  Entry Form  
  • Drop off and pickup 
  • Daycare rules
  • A vaccine card with the date of their latest shots 
  • Flea and worming records
  • Doggy Temperament Test

 

These forms give a balanced overview of your dog's daily routine and behaviours. A few basic requirements include being able to walk off lead, basic commands and being sociable with other dogs and people. The information is essential for insurance and vet details in case of an emergency. Please contact me privately and I will email you the documents needed . Once completed, email the forms back to me.

FAQs

What vaccines does my dog need? 

 

It's a mandatory requirement for dogs to have Leptospirosis, DHP and Kennel Cough at daycare. 

 

What are the hours for drop off and pickup? 

 

Standard hours are 8am-6pm, but this can extend from 7am-7pm

 

Can you administer medication? 

 

No, I'm not licensed to administer medication

 

Do I pay extra for longer stays? 

 

There's no extra charge, but you will need to notify in advance if possible. 

 

Do you offer overnight stays?

 

I am not able to offer overnight stays for insurance and animal daycare licensing reasons

 

Does my dog need to be well trained?

 

A basic understanding of sit, stay, leave, come and down is desirable.

 

 

How do you assess a dog's suitability?

 

This happens over several stages: a temperament test, a meet & greet, a doggy profile and direct observation by a trial day at daycare.

 

What's a risk assessment? 

 

If there is an emergency situation where your or another dog's life is in danger, I carry out a risk assessment. Pre-risk checks are also carried out prior. 

 

What happens in poor weather? 

 

Dogs are usually walked in snow, wind and rain. However, if weather conditions are too extreme, I will contact you and advise your dog stays inside. 

 

Are there any breeds you don't accept?

 

No, there are no breed specific restrictions. However, it is desirable for the dog to be a small or medium dog e.g. a Cocker Spaniel, Bichon or Dachshund
